BHUBANESWAR: The federal government has been laying particular deal with enhancing college infrastructure and arresting the dropout price, college and mass training minister Samir Ranjan Sprint stated within the state meeting on Friday.
Replying to an adjournment movement on the state of faculty training, the minister stated up to now Rs 6,267 crore has been spent on the infrastructure improvement of three,12,482 colleges. For the present 12 months, an quantity of Rs 319.16 crore has been sanctioned for 12,466 colleges, he added. He additional stated funds have been sanctioned for the event of the infrastructure of 1,867 main colleges. The federal government has launched Rs 432 crore for creating extra school rooms, library, science labs, bathrooms, electrification and for arranging different equipment in 512 excessive colleges within the state, he added.
